This simply could've been released in The Sims 3 Store. It doesn't merit a CD release for what you get. August 15, 2010 M.D. Edwards (Newport News, VA) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I have become a die-hard Sims 3 fan, even WITH all of the errors and difficulties that I've encountered with this latest version of The Sims. I've even already preordered The Sims 3 Late Night Expansion, since I'm just very excited about what that expansion will have to offer. This stuff pack, however? SO not worth the full price, in my opinion.
The items that it offers are, I guess, okay, but there just don't seem to be that many more items in my game since I installed this stuff pack. I was all excited, also, by the thought of getting the big honkin' aquarium into my game a la The Sims 2, but that huge, gorgeous, 5,000 gallon (or whatever it was) cube aquarium is nowhere to be found. What you ACTUALLY get is an updated, slightly larger version of the pitiful looking small rectangular tank from The Sims 2. The one in this Stuff Pack is NICE, but it's definitely NOT what I was counting on getting!
I love The Sims 3. The options that you've got to play around with, the sheer and total beauty of the game (at least with a good dedicated video card, which I installed - WITH a new, more powerful PSU - simply to properly run my Sims game), and all of the new user-created worlds really make this series, in my opinion, the best of the bunch. THIS particular stuff pack, however, just wasn't worth the money to me. If I'd known that this was what I'd be getting for twenty bucks, I probably would've looked around in The Sims 3 Store for buyable content that's more up my alley. And I suspect that The Sims 3: Fast Lane Stuff is going to be both similar to this Stuff Pack, and similarly disappointing.
Oh well. Three out of four (so far) ain't bad!

The regular Sims 3 game is extremely fun and with High End Loft Stuff, it makes it slightly better. I don't really believe this is worth it's price, I thought there would be more items that came along with it, but I am still pretty satisfied with it anyway.

Bought this addition for my 11 1/2 year grandgirl Madison....and she enjoyed it. She said it had a few extras things in it...and wished I had gotten Ambitions instead. Oh well...she loves Sims 3 and hogs my computer up...when she comes over and spends the night.
Good addition to a fun game! May 13, 2010 Lil MamaKitty (Virginia Beach, VA United States) 5 out of 13 found this review helpful
I'm a Simmer. I have been since Sims 1. I pretty much buy every EP and stuff package that comes out! My daughter enjoys the Sims 3 game too, but I don't buy two of the same thing, so we could't play at the same time at first. When World Adventures EP came out, I installed the base game on her machine. She liked it but wanted her Sims to be able to travel too. I thought she'd have to wait for the next EP, Ambitions, to release. But when I bought this stuff pack, I was happy to discover that I can start my game with this CD! In the past Sims games, only the EP discs do that, but now that I no longer need the World Adventures disc to play my Sims game, I can put that expansion in her game and she can use that disc to play any time! That is reason enough to buy this pack, but the stuff that is added to the game is cool, especially the electric guitar and the aquarium. I like making ultra modern houses often, so this stuff is essential for building and furnishing that style of home. There are some new clothing items too. A good addition if you love Sims 3.
Neat little expansion April 18, 2010 CJC (USA) 2 out of 8 found this review helpful
I am a Sims fanatic and I was pleased to see another addition to the Sims 3 domain. A lot of neat gadgets added in, but looking forward to more updates for Sims 3.
