I ordered this product to use on my laptop along with my daughter's and her boyfriend's. We all have been using it for about a month and have not had any problems. The large company I work for uses McAfee so I felt that it would be a good product. The price was much better than other similar products. I would buy it again.

I find purchasing the product from year to year is cheaper and ultimately more effective than updating previous versions. McAfee makes and supports a fine product that I intend to continue to use. This past spring when the false virus "programs" popped up on friends' and family's computers warning of "dozens of trojans and malware infections," VirusScan showed there was no infection and saved a LOT of aggravation. Keep up the great work!

I've been using this anti virus package on three different computers for quite a while now and have not experienced any problems on any of them. (The package allows installation on three computers) One on my home computer (Internet and gaming....pretty beefy system, self built). One on my laptop that I use at work and one installation on my netbook which is connected to the internet 24/7 (runs my home weather station). I have not noticed any slowdown on any of my computers (other than when a scan is actually running) nor any bugs. The program is pretty unobtrusive unless something bad is going on. I like the warnings you get if you try to visit a suspicious site...McAfee provides a link to a site which tells why it was flagged and also has user reports on the suspect site (if any are available). I have tried many different antivirus products, both free and paid and this one is at the top of my recommend list. Way above Norton, which I haven't tried lately but I remember as being a terrible resource hog.

McAfee markets their software by including trial versions on new computers, like my wife's new netbook. Then they dun you with warnings about it expiring.

br /If you go to their web site, they charge you top dollar for the full version.

br /If you buy, like I did, from a third party like Amazon to avoid their "captive audience" prices, you get a CD with NO mention of installing on a netbook -- which has NO CD drive.

br /When you contact McAfee, you get a week's-long runaround by chat, phone (with foreign speakers) and email. You get advice ranging from "Go to our web site and buy the software [AGAIN] there" to "get a PC that has a CD drive and load the software there."
br /
br /When you complain to their executive in charge of Customer Relations, you hear nothing in return.
br /
br /To repeat, my WORST customer experience in 69 years.
