Magix music maker sucks!!!!
No proper phone support, the built-in instrument sounds like... well.... ancient, low quality, not up to todays standards, and it can't even use a 3rd party sound synth(dxi nor vsti) to make up for that. This software is only good for maybe hip-hop(where instruments sound fake anyways). Do yourself a favour and get cakewalk music creator instead which actually costs about the same anyways, and you get much more quality sounds...and allows 3rd party sound synths (both dxi and vsti)too (if you want other instrument sounds).i.e. expandable.

I had the magix music deluxe 10 version , my old computer crashed and i had to purchased this newest one thinking it would have been better.. in the deluxe 10 , i was able to create vidoes with images, now they took that options away...lots of features are missing, there are many less loops than the old version i had... waste of my money -
Don't do it - 4 weeks after Christmas and it still won't run January 14, 2010

I have tried in vain to get help from the Magix people with the install of this product. First I had to download a program to request and unlock code. Then wait for a code from them - then enter it only to get another error saying the disc isn't found. Obviously there is something wrong with the disc but the company will not honor my requests for a new disc. Buyer Beware - I seem to have no way to get my money back.

I bought this for my 12 year old nephew for Christmas because he likes to play with my boyfriends copy whenever he is over. And my boyfriend loves it. But there are MAJOR problems when trying to install on your computer.
