poor graphics and confusing layout September 3, 2010 Rachel Schultz (Fort Collins, CO, US) we installed this a few times and each time the graphics would black out after only a few minutes of "play". and the structure of how to get through this program was really confusing. i wouldn't recommend it.
cant recommend it highly enough May 9, 2010 A. Diggs I have to say the Reader Rabbit series alone has made my darling angel a reader, I sit with her, and do it with her. I don't sit her by herself and expect her to get it all alone with a computer but if you show your enthusiasm and use these products I promise you unless your child has a learning disability, your child will read early and well....excellent head start to school, in fact Kindergarten so far has been a moot point she is so far ahead of them.
Excellent for beginning reader April 5, 2010 Alice J. Wolfsberg (Los Alamos, NM) I have used this software with at least four of my grandchildren. They have fun with it. They all read excellently, even the youngest who is in kindergarten and can read chapter books.
Wonderful Learning Tool March 30, 2010 Colleen M. Murphy (Northglenn, CO United States) Purchased this for my nephews - 3 and 4 years old. There are SO many great activities that they could (and have!) spend an entire day just "playing their computer games." My brother (a single dad) gets a break every time he puts this "game" into the computer for the boys. For most activities, they work together and learn together. It's been great fun to see them learning, see their skills improve, and hear the increase in their vocabularies!! We were a bit concerned about the "leftie" using the mouse for the first time. BUT - he had it down in under 5 minutes! It was great!
Nice product...once you can get it to install March 4, 2010 J. Marino (Boston, MA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The product itself is great for my two kids (5 years and 3 years), but for some reason it would not install initially on a standard Windows XP professional platform. Found the following site that explained how to update the .ini setup file and it worked...but it took a 10 minute activity into an hour and I never expect to touch the setup files when purchasing packaged software.
